Soft, delicious Blondie Snickerdoodle bars!

Hey everyone! So I decided to make my first recipe a simple one, with ingredients that most households have.

So first, heres what your going to need;

9×13″ baking pan
1 large bowl
1 medium bowl
1 small bowl
1 whisk
1 large spoon
1 spatula (to even in pan)
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Mixer

Ingredients;

2 2/3 cups flour (I use pastry flour)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup butter (soft NOT melted)
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons white sugar
2 Teaspoons ground cinnamon

Soo first, preheat your oven to 350º and lightly grease your baking pan (I use crisco)

Then, in a medium bowl, whisk together your flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Once you’ve put aside your flour mixture, combine your butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.

Use a large spoon to start mixing the brown sugar mixture, then beat until smooth (I kept my beater on the lowest setting)

image

Slowly add your flour mixture to your brown sugar mixture, I used my large spoon to mix the two mixtures until it was all together, then I used my beater on a very low setting to smooth it out.

Once you’ve finished mixing your batter, spread it evenly in your greased baking pan

Now, in a small bowl, mix together your cinnamon and sugar (sorry, the pictures really fuzzy I didn’t notice until after!)

Sprinkle your cinnamon mixture onto your batter evenly and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the surface springs back when gently pressed (I put mine in for 23 minutes)

when its ready, remove and cut into squares with a sharp knife while still warm, then cool on a wire rack.

I hope you enjoy these as much as my family did! Don’t be shy to give me feedback and thanks so much for reading my blog!

Also, feel free to send me requests!

Hey guys!

Hey guys!

Heyy everyone, so I’m starting a new blog, a food blog! I just wanted to introduce and tell a little bit about myself for the people who don’t know me. I’ve just recently went through quite a tough time, so I thought I would try something new. I grew up cooking and baking with my grandmother and I absolutely love it! So, I thought what would be better then blogging about something im passionate about? (duhh right?) ANYWAYS, I’m 19 years old and i’m from Canada! I’m currently trying to get into McMaster University for my MRSc (Bachelors of Medical Radiation Sonography) Now that you know a little bit about me, I hope to see you following me! I will post a new recipe every week, most likely on the weekends. (I will set a new-post day in a couple weeks)
